A day that starts with bluegrass music is a day that starts off right! Passenger Creek
features a 3-time state fiddle champion, as well as the great grandson of Grand Ole
Opry star Uncle Dave Macon.
When the music is over, let’s head out to see some downtown Clarksville attractions
where you can have lunch on your own and some free time to explore Clarksville.
After a brief stop and rest at the hotel, we will head to a local venue for a delicious
southern dinner with a great performance. If you thought George Jones and Tammy
Wynette were the king and queen of country music, tonight you will hear from the
princess. Georgette Jones will showcase her beautiful voice, singing songs made
famous by her parents and telling the stories behind the songs. She will be joined by
Dion Pride, the son of ACM Pioneer Award winner Charley Pride. As the son of
legendary Country Music Hall of Famer, Charley Pride, Dion carries on his family’s
musical legacy while forging his own path. With his remarkable talent as a songwriter
and multi-talented instrumentalist, playing guitar, piano, drums, and bass, Dion has
demonstrated his versatility in the world of music.

Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

We have some insight into the life of the Man in Black today. We will drive an hour south to the tiny town of Bon Aqua, Tennessee, home of Johnny Cash’s Storyteller Hideaway Farm. Owned by Johnny Cash for more than 30 years, he commonly referred to the farm as the “center of my universe.” From the memorabilia to the farmhouse and the legendary “One Piece at a Time Car,” Johnny Cash Fans will be delighted by this stop. All of this with a private performance by Johnny’s nephew Mark Alan Cash Lunch will be served at the Wonders Center. This is the largest general science museum based upon biblical principles in the world. You will have a delicious lunch and time to tour the facility. What country music tour would be complete without honoring the Queen of Country Music, Loretta Lynn? Our next stop will be at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee. “In 1966, Loretta and Mooney, (Loretta’s deceased husband Doolittle “Mooney” Lynn) stumbled upon this little town while looking for another piece of property and found the big house on the hill,” related Anthony Brutto, the general manager of Loretta Lynn’s Ranch and her grandson. “It was kind of dilapidated, but Loretta fell in love with it. Once they found out who owned the home, they also found out that that person also owned the town of Hurricane Mills. The only way the Lynns could buy the house was to purchase everything, so they bought the whole town.” Tour the antebellum home and Coal Miner’s Daughter Museum and visit the shops in Western Town. Next, we will head over to the amphitheater at Loretta Lynn’s ranch for dinner and a show with Twitty and Lynn. Conway Twitty’s grandson, Tre, and Loretta Lynn’s granddaughter, Tayla, will bring a wonderful tribute to their famous grandparents. Singing hits like Louisiana Woman, Mississippi Man, Coal Miner’s Daughter and Hello Darling, guests will relive the old days of country music. Dinner will be served at this show.

a ride on the Delta River flatboat, this afternoon we will head back downtown Nashville where we will enjoy lunch at Ole Red Nashville and then a Guided Ryman Auditorium tour.
Originally built as the Union Gospel Tabernacle over 130 years ago, the Ryman was
designed as a beacon for evangelicals in downtown Nashville. But it became country
music’s main stage in the ‘50s and ‘60s as the home of the Grand Ole Opry. Now, as
the birthplace of over a century of modern music’s defining moments, it’s one of the
most celebrated venues in the world.
After our tour we will go directly to the Opry House for a guided Grand Ole Opry
backstage tour. We will the retire back to the Gaylord Opryland resort to freshen up
before an evening performance with reserved seats at the Grand Ole Opry.
The Grand Ole Opry is the stage that showcases country music’s past, present, and
future, home to the art form’s growth and evolution for over 98 years. Taking over from
the Ryman Auditorium The Opry House gave the show more space and the facilities
necessary to grow and evolve. The Opry family began welcoming more giants like The
Gatlin Brothers, John Conlee, Ricky Skaggs, Lorrie Morgan, Reba McEntire, Randy
Travis, and Patty Loveless.

Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch Cruise

Today after breakfast and some leisure time take the shuttle down to the General
Jackson for a lunch and show cruise.
While “rollin’ down the river,” you’ll enjoy stunning views, a delicious meal freshly
prepared by our chefs and toe-tapping entertainment in our two-story Victorian Theater.
One of the largest showboats ever built, the grand General Jackson is an elegant
triumph of American ingenuity. With its elegant lacy filigree and stately design, the boat
is reminiscent of the opulence of the American Victorian era.
Showboats have long been a colorful part of our nation’s history, and this most unique
Nashville attraction epitomizes the grace and grandeur of the South.
The General Jackson Showboat is named after the first steamboat to operate on the
Cumberland River in 1817.
