Day 1 – Sun Aug 01, 2027 – St. Albert, AB to Regina, SK – Prairie Horizons Await

Begin your journey across the Canadian Heartland as you depart St. Albert and travel east through the open expanse of Alberta and into Saskatchewan. Along the way, meet fellow travelers joining the tour from communities en route — new faces who will soon become familiar companions on this shared adventure. The road stretches wide beneath endless prairie skies, flanked by fields of wheat, barley, and canola that sway like oceans of gold and green. Pass scenes of rural life — rustic barns, classic grain elevators, and timeless stretches of open land that speak to the soul of the Prairies. Arrive in Regina, SK, where warm hospitality welcomes you for your first overnight stay.

Day 2 – Mon Aug 02, 2027 – Regina, SK to Winnipeg, MB – Gateway to the Heart of Manitoba

As you cross the provincial border into Manitoba, the prairie landscape subtly transforms — low-lying farmland gives way to gently rolling terrain, ribboned with rivers and dotted with small lakes. Then it is on to The Forks, one of Winnipeg’s most popular gathering places, where you’ll have free time to explore The Forks Market, browse the unique shops and local vendors. See the city from a new perspective on a Scenic boat cruise along its waterways.

Visit where every Canadian circulation coin is produced with a tour of the Royal Canadian Mint. Learn about the art and precision behind coin production and take home fascinating insights — and maybe a unique souvenir. This evening, enjoy our first evening at Folklorama visiting two pavilions to experience performances, flavours, and traditions from around the world.

Day 5 – Thurs Aug 05, 2027 – Assiniboine Zoo – Folklorama Evening 2

Visit Assiniboine Park Zoo for the acclaimed Journey to Churchill exhibit, one of the world’s most comprehensive Arctic wildlife experiences. Watch polar bears swim gracefully, see seals at play, and discover the wonders of the North. In the evening, enjoy Folklorama’s second night, visiting 2 new pavilions to explore fresh performances, flavours, and traditions from around the world.

Day 6 – Fri Aug 06, 2027 – Winnipeg, MB to Saskatoon, SK – Prairies in Motion Through Canada’s Heartland

Travel west along the Yellow-head Highway, where the Canadian prairies stretch endlessly in waves of gold and green. Pass by glistening prairie lakes, rows of weathered grain elevators, and charming small towns that speak to the heart of prairie life.
