Day 1 – Tue Oct 14  Home Cities – Swift Current, SK

Embark on the “Exploring the Musical Heartland Tour” starting in St. Albert aboard a deluxe coach. Journey southward, passing through Red Deer and Calgary, then westward to Medicine Hat. Cross into Saskatchewan, concluding the day in Swift Current with a cozy stay at the Home Inn and Suites, all while getting acquainted with fellow travelers.

Day 2 – Wed Oct 15  Swift Current, SK – Minot, ND

This morning’s journey takes us from Moose Jaw westward, then south through Weyburn and Estevan, crossing into North Dakota at Portal. We’ll make lunch and coffee stops en route to Minot, where we’ll spend the night at the Sleep Inn and Suites connected to Dakota Square Mall.

Day 3 – Thurs Oct 16  Minot, ND – Sioux Falls, SD

Today, we’ll traverse two additional states, heading southward, passing by Jamestown before entering South Dakota. Our journey will conclude in Sioux Falls, where we’ll stay at the Best Western Ramkota.

Day 4 – Fri Oct 17  Sioux Falls, SD – St Joseph, MO – Pony Express and Patee House Museum

This morning, we departed Iowa for Missouri, aiming for an overnight stay at Drury Inn & Suites in St. Joseph. Upon arrival, we’ll explore the Pony Express Museum, a historic schoolhouse, and enjoy a catered lunch with a surprise performance. A personalized tour will delve into the Pony Express’s history. Later, we’ll visit the Patee House Museum and the site of Jesse James’s demise, offering interactive insights into St. Joe’s past.

Day 5 – Sat Oct 18  St Joseph, MO – Branson, MO – Dinner McFarlain’s – Sight and Sound Theatre “David”

Today we will make our way to Branson, where we enjoy a welcome dinner at McFarlain’s Restaurant, and then we will take in our first show at the Sight and Sound Theatre: “David” – Master Poet, Fearless Warrior, Anointed King. From still waters to shadowed valleys, David’s ascent to the throne is filled with towering giants, wild animals, and Philistine soldiers. After unprecedented victories lead to devastating failures, this passionate warrior will face the biggest battle of all: the one within himself. Come alongside this young shepherd on his journey to become a man after God’s own heart. We then check into our hotel for the next 3 evenings.

Day 6 – Sun Oct 19  Branson Landing – New Jersey Nights – Clay Cooper’s Country Express

This morning, after breakfast, you will have a free morning to do as you please in Branson. We will take you to Branson Landing for some outlet shopping and lunch on your own. This afternoon, we will take in another show, New Jersey Nights, at King’s Castle Theatre. After a break back at our hotel and dinner on your own, we will take in Clay Cooper’s Country Express, a dynamic show with a talented ensemble of performers showcasing a mix of country, rock, gospel, and patriotic tunes. The captivating production promises entertainment for all ages, ensuring an unforgettable night from start to finish.

Day 7 – Mon Oct 20  Branson City Tour – Landry’s Seafood – Presley’s Jubilee

This morning we will enjoy a local guided Branson city and area tour. The afternoon will be free for more Branson shopping and free time on your own. This evening, we will enjoy a plated dinner at Landry’s Seafood restaurant, with plenty of non-seafood options. Cap off the day with the iconic Presleys at their Jubilee, a cornerstone of Branson’s entertainment legacy, celebrating over half a century of performance excellence.

Day 8 – Tue Oct 21  Branson, MO – Hurricane Mills, TN

After a few busy days in Branson, today is a travel day to get us one step closer to Nashville. We will make our stop at Hurricane Mills. Sit back and relax, watching the sights of Missouri and Tennessee roll by. We will check into our Holiday Inn hotel and get settled for another exciting day tomorrow, the start of our Nashville experience!

Day 9 – Wed Oct 22  Hurricane Mills, TN – Nashville, TN – Loretta Lynn Ranch – Opry 100 Backstage Dinner Party

Meals Included: Breakfast, Dinner

This morning we will visit Loretta Lynn’s Ranch at Hurricane Mills and tour the Mansion that she lived in. The Plantation home is an antebellum-style home dating back to the late 1800s and was home to Loretta, Mooney, and their children. We will also visit the Coal Miner’s Daughter Museum with pictures, awards, and memorabilia collected by Loretta, many with handwritten notes explaining their significance in her life. From here, we will make our way into Nashville for the next 3 evenings. After a brief stop at the visitor center for a Nashville welcome, we will check in to the magnificent Gaylord Opryland Resort.

Day 10 – Thurs Oct 23  Nashville, TN – City Tour – RCA Studio B – Country Music Hall of Fame

Today we embark on a 3-hour sightseeing tour of Music City with a local step-on guide. An enlightening and entertaining narrative will include the downtown area with some of its colorful history and beautiful architecture, a visit to Music Row, as well as a drive-through of Bicentennial Mall Park, viewing of the Parthenon, and much more. Next up is a guided RCA Studio B tour and the Country Music Hall of Fame, with a little free time on Broadway before retreating back to the Gaylord Opryland for the evening where you can take a ride on the Delta River Flatboat.

Day 11 – Fri Oct 24  Nashville, TN – General Jackson Showboat – Free Afternoon

Today is the driver’s day off so you can enjoy a leisurely morning and all that the Opryland hotel has to offer. Take the shuttle from the resort to one of America’s most entertaining cruises – The General Jackson Showboat. While rolling down the river, enjoy stunning views, a delicious meal, and toe-tapping entertainment in a two-story Victorian Theater. Your cruise lets you experience the Nashville skyline, as it can best be seen from the beautiful Cumberland River. Enjoy the afternoon at your own pace.

Day 12 – Sat Oct 25  Nashville, TN – Graceland – Memphis, TN

Today we will pack up and head to Memphis. On arrival, we will visit Elvis Presley’s Graceland. Walk in the footsteps of the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll as you explore the Superstar’s estate, including the Elvis Experience at Graceland. In the evening, we will stay downtown in Memphis, where you may check out famous Beale Street.

Day 13 – Sun Oct 26  Memphis, TN – Kansas City, MO

It is time to start making our way home, reflecting on many exciting days in Branson, Nashville, and Memphis. Filling our hearts with memories, we will enjoy the scenery as we retreat back as far as Kansas City today.

Day 14 – Mon Oct 27  Kansas City, MO – Brookings, SD

Continuing on our route home, we will head north through St. Joseph, Omaha, Sioux City, and Sioux Falls, making our way to Brookings, SD, and settling in at our hotel.

Day 15 – Tue Oct 28  Brookings, SD – Minot, ND

Meals Included: Breakfast

Today, after enjoying a complimentary breakfast, we’ll journey northward along I-29, passing through Waterson and Fargo. Our route will veer west towards Jamestown, then north again, culminating our travels at the Sleep Inn in Minot, ND.

Day 16 – Wed Oct 29  Minot, ND – Swift Current, SK

This morning, post-breakfast, you’ll resume your northbound journey, pausing at the Duty-Free before re-entering Canada. Your route takes you through Estevan, Weyburn, and Moose Jaw, culminating in your arrival at Swift Current’s Home Inn and Suites.
