Day 1 – Tuesday – June 2, 2026 – Flights to St Johns, NL – Welcome to the Rock

Today we begin our journey to the East Coast with optional flights available from Edmonton or Calgary. Your Pro Tours Manager/Tour Director will accompany those departing from Edmonton. Upon arrival in St. John’s, Newfoundland, you’ll be warmly greeted by our Parsons Motorcoach driver and local Newfoundland guide. We’ll then transfer to our hotel for a two-night stay as we prepare to explore this captivating province from coast to coast.

Day 2 – Wednesday – June 3, 2026 – St John’s, Cape Spear, Signal Hill – The Edge of the Atlantic

Stand where the continent ends and the Atlantic begins as we explore the colourful city of St. John’s and its dramatic coastline. From the windswept cliffs of Cape Spear, North America’s most easterly point, to Signal Hill, where transatlantic communication made history, today’s journey blends stunning scenery with rich heritage. Stroll the vibrant historic George and Water streets of downtown, soak in maritime charm, and experience the heartbeat of Newfoundland in its iconic capital.

Day 3 – Thursday – June 4, 2026 – St. John’s to Clarenville – From Sea to Screech: Embracing Newfoundland

Join the famous Gatherall’s Puffin and Whale Watching Cruise, where you’ll cruise past majestic icebergs while spotting playful puffins and majestic whales. Enjoy lively commentary blending local wildlife facts with Newfoundland’s rich cultural stories and traditional songs. Having spent enough time on the island to earn this honour, our day concludes in Clarenville with an included dinner and a fun-filled Screech-In ceremony — officially welcoming you as an honorary Newfoundlander!

Today’s scenic drive takes us to the charming towns of Trinity and Bonavista, steeped in history and maritime heritage. Experience the Trinity Experience, immersing yourself in the town’s rich cultural traditions and historic charm. Visit John Cabot’s 1497 landing site, marking one of the earliest European arrivals in North America. Explore the Ryan Premises, once a vital center for the salt fish trade that fueled Newfoundland’s economy. Stand in awe of the 19th-century Cape Bonavista Lighthouse, a beacon for countless sailors.

Day 5 – Saturday – June 6, 2026 – Twillingate Day Tour – Chasing Icebergs and Coastal Charm

Welcome to the heart of Iceberg Alley in Twillingate, where rugged coastlines and stunning seascapes await. Explore the Beothuk Interpretive Centre to learn about Newfoundland’s indigenous history, then take a leisurely stroll through the serene Ancient Gardens. Experience the breathtaking Ocean Quest Iceberg Cruise, sailing close to majestic drifting icebergs. Day 7 – Monday – June 8, 2026 – Corner Brook to Plum Point – Exploring Gros Morne – Lighthouses to Arches

Begin your day at the Gros Morne Interpretation Centre, where you’ll learn about the park’s unique geology and natural history. Enjoy panoramic views of stunning Bonne Bay before visiting the historic Lobster Cove Lighthouse for a guided tour and leisurely stroll along the cliffside paths. Make a serene stop at Cow Head, taking in its peaceful surroundings. Next, visit the remarkable Arches, natural rock formations sculpted by the sea, before heading to Plum Point to settle in for a restful evening. Relax and enjoy some local entertainment as the day closes.

Day 8 – Tuesday – June 9, 2026 – Plum Point to Torrent River – L’Anse aux Meadows and Grenfell Properties

Step back in time at the UNESCO World Heritage site of L’Anse aux Meadows, where Viking adventurers settled over 1,000 years ago. Explore this remarkable archaeological site that reveals the Norse presence in North America. Next, visit St. Anthony, founded by renowned medical missionary Sir Wilfred Grenfell, and tour the historic Grenfell Properties. Our day concludes at Torrent River, where you’ll enjoy a delicious dinner accompanied by local talent, immersing yourself in the warm hospitality and vibrant culture of Newfoundland’s northern coast.

Day 9 – Wednesday – June 10, 2026 – Torrent River to Grand Falls-Windsor – Fishing Heritage and Fascinating Pollinators

After a majestic drive through Newfoundland’s stunning landscapes, we’ll visit Broome Point, enjoying an interpreted stop to learn about its rich fishing heritage. Leaving Gros Morne National Park behind, we continue to the fascinating Newfoundland Insectarium, where a private honeybee demonstration offers insight into these vital pollinators. Our journey concludes with arrival in Grand Falls-Windsor, where you’ll spend the night, resting and reflecting on the day’s unique blend of nature, culture, and discovery.

Day 10 – Thursday – June 11, 2026 – Grand Falls-Windsor to St John’s – Ganders Airline Legacy: Transatlantic Flights to 9/11

Meals Included:  Breakfast, Farewell Dinner

Today is steeped in aviation history as we explore central Newfoundland’s deep ties to the skies. Visit the North Atlantic Aviation Museum, where exhibits chronicle Gander’s crucial role in early transatlantic flight. Experience a powerful, beyond-words tour that tells the story of how this small town became a place of refuge during the events of 9/11. We’ll also stop at the Silent Witness Memorial, which honours the 256 lives lost in the 1985 Arrow Air crash. From there, we journey back to St. John’s for our final evening together, marked by a memorable farewell dinner.

Day 11 – Friday – June 12, 2026 – Homeward Bound – Farewell to the Rock – Newfoundland in our Hearts
